We can’t say enough nice things about this coin! It us not just high end, it is VERY high end!
The surfaces are 100% ORIGINAL and are 100% GEM. We looked hard at the surfaces with and with out a strong glass. There are NO violations to be found of ANY size, ANY where. Even frost breaks are almost non existent. There is no question this coin has NEVER been dipped. A moderate luster show off light toning that mixes with creamy white on the obverse. Obviously this coin had been laying on felt or cloth so the reverse is fully toned. Do note, the toning is light to moderate. Most important, this coin is VERY well struck. Without a glass you can even see most of the eagles leg feathers. The eye appeal is very pleasing!
PCGS 135, NGC 80, CAC 13. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher. The last PCGS CAC MS65 to sell in auction brought $4,230.00 08/2015. That coin had the long die crack on the obverse and some abrasions-this coin is clearly BETTER! If you are into total originality and quality-this is your coin. It is more then worthy of inclusion in the very BEST set.
