$1 1900 LAFAYETTE PCGS MS65+

SUPER HIGH END. We have handled many high end Lafayette over the years, several have a had great color, however none have the “stop dead in your tracks” look like this coin presents!

First, we must confirm to you the technical qualities are all there and then some. The surfaces are velvety smooth and have no visible imperfections. A surprising full booming luster brings out the best of everything. A wild ring of totally ORIGINAL GEM royal blue/violet/rose/yellow gold frames the peripheries on both sides. Mother nature has not done any others like this (that was have seen in our 30+ years of handling the finest ever commems). All of the details are frosty and are very well struck. Only a light hidden line on the trunk of Washington maybe whats keeping this stunning piece from a full MS67 designation. The eye appeal certainly is incredible!

PCGS 280, NGC 187, CAC 57. PCGS has graded only 8 MS65’s (we’re pretty sure this coin is 2x). Because of the incredible colors, you can not compare this coin to what any others have sold for.
