We love looking at the check and this coin all day long!  No question it sat some where totally undisturbed since it left the bank 120 years ago! Absolutely remarkable surfaces are the ultimate in cleanliness. Only one small thin bag mark can be seen on the left obverse. The rest of the surfaces are satiny smooth perfection. A strong satiny luster does beam from all over. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. Her cheek has picture perfect cleanliness-something that is rarely found these days.
