SUNNYWOOD/SIMPSON COLLECTION. Gorgeous album toning!
Subtle colors. A ring of blue/gold covers the obverse and is surrounded by violet/pale golden brown colors. The reverse has deep gold by the peripheries w/hints of violet. The centers are a fiery blue/purple. We grade the colors MS66.7.
The technical quality is all there. Both sides appear smooth and clean. A strong luster enhances the colors and shows off the fully struck features. The eye appeal is beautiful!
Even without color, this is a very under appreciated date and grade. PCGS 267, NGC 170, CAC 22.
