$1 1896S PCGS MS65+

When we first saw this magnificent GEM, we could not believe it. If it were an 80S (which it actually does look like) it would be an MS66. PCGS was super tight on how they graded this remarkable GEM!

Absolutely pristine surfaces are satiny, smooth, and have that ORIGINAL skin look. Using a strong glass will yield you NO problem of any size-save for a small tick on the reverse (not even frost breaks can be found). A full booming luster shows off fresh snowy white ORIGINAL surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have exceptional strikes. Her cheek is probably as perfect as the MS69 (yes there is an MS69)! Not a single thing has been done to this coin. The eye appeal is mind boggling!

PCGS 55, NGC 21, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 3 coins MS65+. Hard to believe there are 4 coins graded higher. A NON CAC regular MS65 sold in auction for $17,250.00 1/12 Heritage. This is NOT your typical MS65 96S. It belongs only in the VERY best collection. Had this coin been in an MS66 holder, we would not have flinched. We can not say enough about the coin. FYI: The last PCGS CAC MS66 in auction sold for $74,750.00 08/2011 Heritage. Opportunity can not knock any louder here!
