No question this a 100% ORIGINAL GEM PROOF!
Apparently many of these 1893 Proofs have similar toning-as most of the colors on this coin are also on two PR68’s we own. The mirrors are deep, crystal clear, clean, and have really strong reflectivity. Both sides are evenly covered by a swirling mix of rich ORIGINAL violet/navy/forest green colors. They are NOT dull. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and standout boldly. The eye appeal is pretty!
ONLY 792 were minted. PCGS 17, NGC 24, CAC 2. Hard to believe, but NO CAC coins have been sold in any major auction that we could find. The current Collectors Universe Value is $6,600.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!
