We bought this coin raw a few years ago thinking it was a lock PR65. To this day it has never graded a 65, so we will forever call it SUPER HIGH END. We sold it for a huge loss. Now, we are thrilled to own it again!
Incredibly deep, crystal clear, remarkably clean,and powerfully reflective mirrors put on quite a show. A stunning mix of reddish gold/auburn/pale purple colors frame the peripheries only. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and standout with beautiful silvery frost. The eye appeal is sensational!
Only 590 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 16, NGC 14. The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $4,140.00 1/07 Stacks. An NGC coin sold for $4,715.00 05/08 also Stacks.
