This has to be one of the nicest $1 1885S we have EVER seen! Its real WOWZER!
Boldly semi-prooflike mirrors (at least 4″) are clearly visible from across the room. The surfaces are ultra clean while the mirrors are both crystal clear and have bold reflectivity. A spectacular mix of original pale purple/navy/gold colors splash over 1/2 the coin. The balance is an original creamy white. There is no question this coin is original and was never messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick frosting. Her cheek will please any picky “old timer”. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 40, NGC 14, CAC 7. This coins quality is darn near the 1885S Coronet PCGS MS66CAC which just sold for $14,100.00. We do not see any reason this coin is not a + (we make no promises).
