A good DMPL is so hard to find these days. There always seems to be a hidden problem, the mirrors aren’t deep, or the coin is overgraded. Finally, found one that is a REAL MS66DMPL!
Full 8″ mirrors have powerful reflectivity. We actually read some lines from a newspaper off the mirrors they are that strong and clear. You can see some teenie and scattered ticks, but they do NOT effect the coins grade or looks. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and creamy white and full strikes. This coin has NEVER been messed with. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 46, NGC 14, CAC . The last PCGS/CAC MS66DMPL to sell brought $9,200 3/2012 while another brought $10,580.00 08/2011. Opportunity knocks loud if you collect CC high grade DMPLs!
