At first glance, this is a GEM MS65 DMPL looking coin! WOW! Only upon much closer examination, you see it is a Prooflike-not a DMPL. The coin still is VERY, VERY, VERY high end! Even we submitted it seeking a 64+ or DMPL designation. The obverse has full 7+” deep and beaming mirrors. They are just shy of the minimum 8″ required for full DMPL. Just a few trivial scattered ticks are visible. The reverse mirrors are 75% DMPL and the typical are above the eagle is slightly prooflike. The reverse also has very few marks. The contrast is screaming from all over. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and enjoy extra thick frosting. The eye appeal is tremendous and has a full black and white look. Your eyeballs will pop out and roll around after they see this coin! PCGS 90, NGC 55, CAC 19 (we are going to guess this coin is more than 1 bean!). Prior to this coin selling the last 79CC PL to sell at auction in 2015 for $14,687.00, one brought $14,100.00 11/2014. With the coins superior eye appeal it can easily fit into ANY Choice or GEM DMPL set. In MS65PL, the price jumps to nearly $30,000.00! You will NOT be disappointed by this coin!
