We do not normally buy 1879 Morgans-but this coin really stood out to us. It is that NICE and is HIGH END!
At first glance you do think 79S. Overall, the surfaces are very clean and have a satiny texture. Only a light frost break or two can be found if you look really hard. A full booming luster shows off the original white surfaces. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 998, NGC 717, CAC 103. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $858.00 11/2013 Heritage. These seem very reasonably priced!
