To start, this coin is an explosion of booming luster. To top that, both sides are semi prooflike-WOW! There are some TINY ticks scattered about-other wise the coin has NO major problems. The coin is frosty white save for a thin band of gold around the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. This coin is pure eye candy for ANY Trade Dollar or CC enthusiast!
PCGS 10, NGC 7, CAC 2 (the only coin beaned higher is our MS66). A very nice but typically toned piece sold earlier this year (4/12 Heritage) for $20,700.00. This coin has much stronger eye appeal. Regardless, save for either coin, there are no other CAC 1877 MS64 CC’s that can come to market. These coins are grossly UNDERvalued!
