$1 1873S PCGS MS65 EX LEGEND

This coin is one of our all time favorite MS Trade Dollars. It was in the #1 all time ranked set that we built for many years. Extraordinary surfaces are superior to most. Only a small hidden die chip keeps this coin from being an MS66. These off a thick satiny texture  along with bold traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. The luster is way above average too. Both sides are a magnificent creamy white with hints of subtle gold. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is incredible! PCGS 3, NGC 3, CAC 2. Only the MS66 in the Legend Collection is finer.
