VERY High End and colorful! Clearly, this is one of the prettiest AU’s and possibly prettiest of ALL the 73CC’s that exists!
No question this coin was stored in a Wayte Raymond type album. Both sides are framed by neon like rings of blue/violet/lime/gold colors. The surfaces have no major hits or unsightly blemishes and do appear clean. There is even a decent trace of luster. Miss Liberty and the details are exceedingly well struck and do appear boldly. The eye appeal of this piece is totally jaw dropping!
PCGS 7, NGC 2. We could find NO record of any PCGS coin being auctioned in the past 9 years. No matter how picky you are, this piece WILL thrill you! NOTE: Yet again, the published values we see for this extremely rare date are totally wrong. Why do they even bother when these make so few appearances?
The holder clearly states Amon Carter. We have confirmed via pics-this is clearly the James Stack specimen.
