$1 1873 TD PCGS PR-64 CAMEO

As many of know, we are huge fans of this first year. Examples don’t come around often in any grade or condition. This coin was an easy buy to us. It is a true cameo with some light original toning. The mirrors are deep, clear, clean, and have strong reflectivity. Only a few stray invisible lines keep this coin from being a full PR65 Cameo. Some moderate golden brown toning is scattered about both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and do have strong frost. A new holder would definitely make this coins wonderful eye appeal stand out more. Only 865 pieces were minted. In Cameo the pops are: PCGS 5, NGC 9. PCGS has graded NONE higher.
