Superior deep, ultra clear, remarkably clean, and incredibly reflective mirrors cover both sides. Even using a strong glass, you will find NO imperfections. The colors are a deeper navy/purple/golden brown and are fiery all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
Only 600 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 18, NGC 17, CAC 4. The last one of these to be sold in a major auction brought $13,800.00 07/2011 Heritage. Seated Dollar proofs in GEM are definitely NOT coins that make frequent appearances in GEM!
