These have become so difficult to find nice and colored. Of course we had to buy this when we saw it-it IS MEMORABLE!
HIGH END quality. Only a few wispy scattered light lines can be seen with a strong glass. To the naked eye there are NO problems visible. Deep, crystal clear, glass like and boldly reflective mirrors cover all of the surfaces. A fabulous color mix of iridescent and totally ORIGINAL olive/rose/gold colors beam from the obverse. You can tell the reverse sat in felt or something. It has olive/pale navy/purple colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is spectacular!
ONLY 460 of this Civil War year were minted. PCGS 13, NGC 14, CAC 9. PCGS has graded NO PR65 CA’s (that surprised us). The last one to sell in auction brought $8,225.00 05/2013 Stacks. We assure you, we paid more for this sparkler. Opportunity knocks really loud here!
