EX Simpson. One of the prettiest colored PR Seated Dollars you’ll ever see! The quality is ULTRA high end.
The obverse has circular electric neon like bands of royal blue/violet/gold that open into lighter centers. The reverse has some deeper non neon colors of navy/deep tangerine/purple. Both sides have dramatic mirrors that have incredible depth, clarity, cleanliness, and of course bold reflectivity. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and have full strikes. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
The pops for NON+: PCGS 1, NGC 4 , CAC 2. This is the ONLY PCGS PR65+! The highest graded CAM is a PCGS PR67 (and there is one PR66). We can not find any auction records for a PCGS PR65 Cameo 1859 Seated Dollar. These are not as easy to find as you think! A “must see” coin for ANY colored Proof Seated Dollar Collection.
