Its nearly impossible to find these earlier PR Seated Dollars with so much bold flash. This coin has BOTH flash and superior quality!
At first glance your thinking late date 1870’s. This coin has extremely sleek, glass like mirrors. There are a few scattered light lines, but the mirrors are clean overall and have remarkable clarity. The reflectivity is intense. Both sides are evenly covered by a moderate lavender/pale blue mix. This coin is far from dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details fully struck and do have thick frost. The eye appeal is jaw dropping gorgeous!
It is estimated ONLY 60 were ever minted. PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2 (we do believe this is both coins). PCGS has graded only ONE coin higher. Opportunity knocks loud here for any Seated Dollar lover or for someone who just wants to put away a really neat coin!
