$1 1847 PCGS MS65

One of our biggest claims to fame is building the greatest MS set of Seated Dollars-EVER.So when we see a really stunning piece-we have to own it. This coin used to be ours and when we saw it was for sale, we had to own it again!

No question this coin is a TRUE GEM in EVERY respect! The surfaces are smooth and are amazingly clean. Only with a strong glass will find a few microscopic ticks scattered about. The luster is above average. Both sides have a beautiful light to moderate mix of pewter/pale gold/pale purple colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional stand out strikes. The eye appeal is totally SUPER!

PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 2. PCGS and NGC have graded NONE higher. NO PCGS/CAC 1847 MS65 has ever sold at auction. we can’t stress enough this coins extreme rarity. Think about it, 25+ years of grading by PCGS-and at most there are only 4 coins-w/NONE finer? Thats really rare!
