$1 1846 PCGS MS65

This is the ONLY example of a GEM 1846 $1 that is or will be available in the next 20 years or so. The other coin is in the Legend Collection which is the FINEST set ever assembled and is off the market for a very long time!

For 164 years this coin has remained undisturbed. The originality of this coin is mind blowing! You can easily see semi-prooflike mirrors that are remarkably clean, clear, and smooth. A strong luster enhances the gorgeous light to moderate patina of reddish gold that even covers both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 2. NO service has graded ANY higher. The last time this coin was on the market was back in 2005. Back then it sold for $97,750.00 11/05 Heritage.
