This piece s a lovely CHOICE XF Bust Dollar. We hardly see them like this any more. Remarkably clean and smooth surfaces are clearly visible. Lovely and totally original toning is actually slightly enhanced by a good luster. The color is a deeper pewter/pale navy like. This is clearly a coin that sat for years in an old kraft envelope. All of the wear is even-and there are NO discolorations on the high points. The details are well struck. The eye appeal is strong for a coin of this grade. PCGS 82, NGC 22, CAC 5. The last one of these to sell in a major auction auction brought $4,700.00 10/2016. We can not stress enough how hard it is to find really nice unmessed with examples.
