1871 Pattern J-1102 25C PCGS PR67BN (CAC)

$17,500.00

This has always been a favorite pattern of ours ever since we placed in the Simpson Collection. The quality and coolness factors are off he charts!

It is a high R-7 (4-12 minted) die trial struck in copper.

The quality is nothing but sheer perfection all over. When using a strong glass you wonder why it is not a PR68 as the surfaces have NOTHING hidden anywhere. The surfaces present a glossy and intensely lustrous look. We wish all copper coins toned like this. Both sides are a full original brown with pale blushes of blue. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. the eye appeal is incredible!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. There is NO price guide for this coin. It has never appeared in auction before. We think a regular silver issue piece in PR67+ (NO Cameo) would bring Around what this coin is worth. In our opinion, it just shows how UNDERvalued these are. If you are a quarter collector, this is a piece of a lifetime!

We make no bones about our cost: $14,400.00. We were willing to go to $20,000.00 all in. Nothing else like it exists-and the quality is insane!
