1854-D $3 Gold PCGS AU58 (CAC)

We pinch ourselves about this SUPERB GEM AU piece. It is HIGH END for sure!

Immaculate surfaces hold up to scrutiny under a strong glass. There is no sign of any cleaning or wiping. There actually is a strong original luster beaming from all over. Both sides are a gammy original even gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. The only visible wear light and is on the high points of Miss Liberty. The details are well struck to the point the rims are almost “wire” (like a High Relief). The eye appeal of this piece is mind boggling!

PCGS 11, NGC 22, CAC 4. PCGS has graded 4 higher while NGC has only a 62 CAC higher. There are no auction records for a PCGS CAC AU58. We firmly believe if this coin were to appear in auction it would sell for an astonishing price.
