1924-D $20 Gold St Gaudens Motto PCGS MS64+ (CAC)

Unhesitatingly, we grade this coin an MS64.95+! Really! It IS that close to full MS65 (at first glance looks like one too)

Superior surfaces resemble what you would see on a commoner date of the 20’s. The surfaces are remarkably clean and have thick satiny texture. When using a strong glass all we could find was a TINY tick or two and a few light and tiny frost breaks. For sure we have seen lesser quality coins in higher holders. This coin might even better off raw (we make no promises it will ever MS65)! A full cartwheel like luster boldly beams from all over. Both sides are a GEM original deeper yellow gold color. There are NO marks or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is heart pounding!

PCGS 178, NGC 85, CAC 15 PCGS has graded 14 in MS64+ (we’d bet this coin has frequent flyer miles)! Its critical to know the next step up is a minimum of $75,000.00 today for a PCGS CAC coin. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell at auction brought $32,900.00 01/2020. The coin offered here is not a coin that is close to MS64, this coin is within decimals of MS65 and should be valued that way. It is full Legend quality!
