This is a VERY HIGH END example. We strongly feel the series is way UNDERvalued (Our opinion).
Wonderful surfaces are clean, smooth, and do exhibit some faint Mint caused die clashing. There are NO hits or problems. A surprising strong luster beams from all over. Totally original album like toning of deeper blue/purple/deep violet/pale green colors swirl all over. Every detail is sharply struck and actually does stand out. The eye appeal is really great!
PCGS 14, NGC 12, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher. The current PCGS CAC value is only $6,250. This coin last sold in auction for $10,281.00 07/2018 (and was the last 1857 PCGS MS66 CAC to sell in auction). How many of these have you seen lately? We’d bet not many at all.
