1890 $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS PR66CAM (CAC)

This is a stunning borderline D Cameo SUPERB GEM. It really is so close to PR67 Cameo too!

Superior, ultra deep mirrors have bold clarity, cleanliness, and on heck of a reflection. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors melt into a flowing river of metal The coin appears black and white, but there is a faint hint of gold handsomely framing the rims. Miss Liberty and the details are incredibly struck and have a wonderful frost that contrasts against the mirrored fields imparting a phenomenal eye appeal!

Only 590 Proofs were struck. PCGS 17, NGC 22, CAC 6. This is the only PCGS PR66+ CAM graded and it most recently sold 1/2017 for $19,300.00. Only seven coins have been graded higher in the designation, and keep in mind that a PR67 CAM CAC sold in our May 2019 Regency Auction for $27,025. In SUPERB GEM Cameo or DCameo these are rare.
