Yeah, we say most of what we handle is VERY HIGH END-but this coin REALLY IS VERY HIGH END! We did send it in for reconsideration. We lost (we make no promises)!
Immaculate surfaces have no real flaws. Using a strong glass you can see some faint die clashes and that is it. There is an unbroken strong original luster. Both sides have a gorgeous and totally original coating of olive (NOT dull)/pale rose/faint gold colors. You do not need a glass to see the seriously above average strike. The eye appeal is SUPER!
PCGS 12, NGC 10, CAC 4. Note: CAC has beaned a total of only 13 higher. The last auction record for ANY PCGS MS 62 (NO CAC) selling was for $25,200.00 in 05/2019. The current PCGS CAC Value is $29,400.00.
This coin has been off the market for a while. We do NOT see nice examples of this date -in ANY grade anymore. We consider this piece totally refreshing-and better then a few higher graded pieces we have seen!
