PCGS got this coin so wrong. It is a 65+++++++! Really! We found one tiny tick that is well hidden that keeps this coin from being a killer MS66. It is well hidden on the reverse. This coin is light years superior to the dull and crusty 1927’s we see every other day.
Impeccable surfaces are satiny smooth yet sleek. An unusual intense luster beams boldly from all over. There is a hint of original reddish gold from 9:00 to 11:00 mostly on the obverse. Everything on this coin looks so fresh and original. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are remarkably struck. The eye appeal is incredible!
PCGS 415, NGC 132, CAC 57. PCGS has graded 42 in MS65+. We’ll challenge this coin vs ANY of those to an eye appeal and quality match. The next step up (if it looked like this) if you could find a PCGS CAC piece would cost at least $25,000.00. This coin is one HIDDEN tick away!
