We felt this coin was exceptional enough to be included in the Type set we were building. It is closer to MS66 then MS 65!
Both sides are exceedingly clean. Only a few very trivial and nearly invisible lines can be see with a strong glass. This coin has NEVER been dipped or messed with. A pretty and even covering of original gold cover the surfaces. There are NO spots or stains. Every detail is frosty and has a sharp strike. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 545, NGC 434, CAC 24. PCGS has graded 30 coins in MS65+. These had been depressed in price and now they are popping with gold flirting at $2,000.00. Keep in mind, the next step up would easily cost OVER $15,500.00-and there is ONLY one CAC’d!
