This is such a cool coin. For sure it is closer to MS 66 than MS65!
Wonderful and exceptional surfaces are ever so smooth and clean. Even using a strong glass won’t yield much of anything. The surfaces texture is satiny. A surprising luster glows boldly from all over. Both sides enjoy a mix of totally original deep pewter/pale forest green colors. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 33, NGC 30, CAC 13. PCGS has graded only 2 in MS65+. We sold the other coin in our 05/2020 sale. It brought $21,737.00 (it was a white coin).
This is a great coin to put away: obsolete series, GEM quality, excellent eye appeal.
