What an amazing trip this coin has taken so far. It left the numismatic gods, then to the Mint, the bank, an intermediate, and now we own it. That is a lot of traveling for 107 year old beauty!
Along the way in all its travels this coin has managed to remain PERFECT. The same condition as it was made. Even when using a strong glass you will find NO imperfections-not even microscopic. The surfaces clearly have a Matte texture. This coin enjoys an above average luster. A hint of original gold mixes with nickel ob both sides. There are NO spots or discolorations. Every detail is fully needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 73, NGC 37, CAC 34. PCGS has graded only 11 in PR67+ (and we would be a few-possibly even this coin are duplicates). Do not be fooled by the pops. The last PCGS CAC 67+ piece to sell in auction was way back in 2016. That piece brought $6,463.00 04/2016. The current Collectors Universe Value is $8,500.00. You can complete a high grade set of these!
