No question this is a totally original GEM piece.
Strong mirrors beam from all over. The obverse has some light original reddish brown toning (might have been on felt for a while). The reverse is brilliant. There are NO spots or discolorations. Every detail is razor sharp in strike. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 29, NGC 21, CAC 7. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $6,168.00 02/2016. Four years with no others selling via auction? That is an incredibly long time. This is a great coin to add to any Civil War set, PR Indian Cent set, or your collection!
