$20 1911-D PCGS MS65

This is a really nice 1911D Saint! We HAVE indeed seen MS66’s  (NO CAC) that looked much less than this coin! Outstanding surfaces are a thick satiny type texture. Besides that, they are very clean. Only when using a strong glass can you find a few hidden ticks. The luster is also thick and satiny. Both sides are a totally original brilliant gold color. There are NO spots or discoloration. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck and are slightly frosty. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 2451, NGC 2340, CAC 301. The last one to sell in auction brought $3,600.00 08/2018 as did one in 01/2018. These seem to be very solid in value and they do not appear with any real frequency (as CAC pieces).  With the price of gold off, so are the premiums on coins like this.
