2C 1869 PCGS PR66+ RB

We purchased this coin from a top crack genius who was trying it for a PR67RB. We agree he had to try. This coin is SUPER HIGH END! Killer mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors have exceptional clarity, cleanliness (we think only an invisible mint made line keeps this from PR67R) and are highly reflective. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of red brown ice glowing in the sun. Both sides are a GEM even moderate red brown color. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is terrific! ONLY 600 were minted. PCGS 31, NGC 25, CAC 15. PCGS has graded ONLY this coin in PR66+ . It has never been sold via auction. It is important to note the last PR67 RB sold for $10,925.00 09/2008! The current Collectors Universe Value is $4,000.00. This is a grossly UNDERvalued and UNDERrated date in this condition. If you are building a SUPERB GEM set, this coin is a “must have”.
