1C 1796 REV 94 PCGS F 15 BLUE LAKE S-108

While the Blue Lake Collector strived for  the very finest, we did always buy the best he could. 20 years ago, this coin was it. The pedigree is ex Rasmussen where it was sold as an NGC VF20. This is a very pleasing problem free coin. The planchet is not porous and looks smooth. A few old light ticks and cuts can be seen (really need a glass). We do not think this coin has been treated.All wear is even. Miss Liberty and the details stand out nicely. Both sides are an even chocolate brown color. There are NO spots or discolorations. The eye appeal is nice! PCGS 7, NGC 2, CAC 1. The last PCGS F 15 to sell in auction-was 10 YEARS AGO (2008). A Even the last NGC coin to sell appeared back in 2012. A  VF 20 sold for $9,400.00 in 2016. There are NO accurate published prices for this coin. This is NOT a problem coin in any way. Once this coin is sold, good luck finding another-in ANY grade!
