$20 1850 PCGS AU55

We LOVE GEM AU gold pieces, especially the big ones like this. Above average surfaces are very quality oriented. For a big coin there is a real minimum of ticks and there are no real scuffs on either side. The texture is a thick satiny look. A surprising moderate luster does glow from all over. Both sides are a wonderful and totally original thick gold color. There are NO stains or discolorations. ALL wear is very light. Miss Liberty and the details are very well struck. The eye appeal is really sweet! PCGS 90, NGC 262, CAC 25. The last PCGS piece to sell in auction was a NON CAC which brought $7,638.00 07/2017.  PCGS CAC pieces are not found in any frequency at all. In fact, the last one we owned was back in 2012.
