$2.5 1885 PCGS MS62

In the old days (prior to certification) this coin easily would have been called a very choice unc. The surfaces do display some minor contact marks and thin light lines (which is why it is only an MS62). There are NO major problems hidden or visible anywhere. Both sides are also fully prooflike and have a super strong radiating luster. The color is a totally original even gold. Of course there are NO spots or stains (actually there is one pinpoint toning dot on teh reverse rim). Miss Liberty and every detail is fully struck and has strong frost. This coin is NOT an AU62 or has it ever been messed with (that is soooooo rare)!  The eye appeal is strong! ONLY 800 were minted. PCSG 6, NGC 2, CAC 1. Not hard to believe NO PCGS CAC piece has ever been sold at auction (for an MS62).  We can’t stress how genuinely rarer this date is in ALL grades. The current Collectors Universe Value is only $6,500.00-which makes no sense to us. We see this as a $7,500.00-$10,000.00. Think about it, above MS61 how many have you ever seen offered? NOTE: Legend placed this coin with a customer back in 2007. We bought it back last year, sold it, then the buyer (a collector) obviously sold to someone close to us and we jumped at the chance to buy it back.
