$20 1904-S PCGS MS65

This piece is SUPERB in every respect. This is not your typical dull or lackluster $20 Lib! The surfaces are both remarkably clean and are lightly semi- prooflike. Only if you use a strong glass can you detect a few light frost breaks and a tiny scattered tick or two. NONE are visible to the naked eye. The mirrors while not stand out bold are easier to see. A full luster also brings out many things. Both sides are an even and very beautiful mix of gold/pale orange gold/pale greenish gold (by the rims only) colors. There are NO spots or high point discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are very well struck. The eye appeal is beautiful! PCGS 226, NGC 299, CAC 19. It should be noted that the pops for a regular 1904 in 65 are PCGS  5,125, CAC 442. The last PCGS CAC MS65 1904S to sell in auction brought $4,700.00 07/2017. This date and grade do NOT appear as often as the populations might make you think! If you allow for all the stats, this coin is only 10-15 above the 1904 which is 10x rarer!
