$5 1847-C PCGS AU55

This piece has a heart pounding love at first and every sight for us. We grade it a full GEM AU. The surfaces show some faint lines. You have to use a strong glass to find the few microscopic ticks there are. What we are most impressed with is the coins bold and totally original luster. You can see light traces of poof like mirrors (especially around the devices). In addition, the toning is 100% GEM Original. Both sides have a gorgeous mix of light to moderate reddish gold. This coin is the furthest thing from cleaned or scrubbed up as so many come. Miss Liberty and the details are above average in strike and offer strong details. The wear is light and there are NO discolorations on the high points. The eye appeal is really neat! PCGS 17, NGC 41 , CAC 2. NO PCGS CAC piece in AU55 has ever been sold at auction. Obviously it is a VERY strong statement when CAC has only beaned 2 out of 58 pieces in AU55. Do know for Legend to buy a coin like this it has to be very special.
