H10C 1867-S PCGS MS66 EX SIMSPON

This is both a gorgeous coin and a undisputable rarity! We always welcome superb “old friends” like this back into our fold. Everything about the quality of this coin is unbeatable. The quality is VERY high end. In fact we think its just some slight irregular toning that keeps it from a MS66+ or even MS67. Superior surfaces are just that. Even when using a strong glass you really can’t find any imperfections anywhere. A very strong luster does enhance the toning. The toning is a thicker and totally original mix of olive/green/deep golden brown/blue. You still can see plenty of the silver surfaces (kind of best of both worlds). Miss Liberty and every detail are lightly frosted and do have full bold strikes. The eye appeal is superb! PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 3 (the coin offered here has been to CAC twice). PCGS has graded one coin MS66+ and none higher. The last time this coin appeared in auction it brought $8,225.00 06/2014-many moons ago! A coin like this is our opinion is GROSSLY UNDER estimated. 150 years old and less then 6 GEM’s (if you include PCGS  MS65’s) in existence? That is nothing!  Oh does opportunity ever knock loud here!
