WOW! This GEM has a GREAT original look! We guarantee that you will have a hard time not staring at the superb, original toning that graces both sides, and dances on rich watery mirrors. Totally original, violet, blue, and aqua blend with hints of iridescent gold over liquid mercury type mirrors. This coin is not dark or drab. The strike is bold and sharp with Ms. Liberty and the details fully defined. The eye appeal of this GEM is outstanding, and this coin was clearly carefully stored in a manner that it did not obtain any unsightly lines, marks, toning spots or anything else that would negatively affect the eye appeal. Only 600 were minted. PCGS 17, NGC 16, CAC 6.  The last example of a PCGS PR65 (NO CAC) to sell in auction brought $10,869.00 03/2014. Only two CAC approved coins have sold in auction, one realizing $16,450 in August 2013 and the other realizing $13,800 in July 2011. We did buy this coin out of Legend’s Premier Sessions sale because we felt it was reasonable and we wanted to keep this “old friend” in our community (remember Legend Numismatics is one of the biggest buyers in he biz for auction coins).
