A REAL GEM RD piece. Nothing wrong with the grade either! Immaculate surfaces are smooth and have no imperfections. When using a strong glass all you will see are light and tiny toning dots-no hits or planchet issues. A surprising strong luster illuminates both sides. The color is a rich FULL GEM MINT RED. There is no discoloration and the color is stable. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosty and have excellent strikes-especially for the date. The eye appeal looks more like a 1C form the 1890s’s-that great! PCGS 19, NGC 3, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 1 coin finer. The last one of these to sell in auction brought $14,100.00 and was NOT nearly as nice as this. There is another on the market for well over $25,000.00. Legend purchased this coin from one of the greatest MS Indian Cent Collectors ever (hint: he sold his amazing sets years ago). We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this coin in full GEM RED. Opportunity knocks for he astute Indian Cent collector!
