50C 1817 PCGS MS65 0-113 EX LINK

One of the nicest GEM 1817 Halves we have ever seen! The surfaces are wicked smooth and are super clean. Even using a strong glass will yield you no hidden surprises. Clearly this coin was safely tucked away form many years. A strong luster enhances the totally original toning that is even all over. Moderate shades of deep pewter/reddish brown/pale olive/pale green swirl together on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are remarkably struck and do very much stand out. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 5, NGC 5, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 5 coins finer.The last 1817 PCGS MS65 to sell was a NON CAC. It brought $17,625.00 01/2104. Note: the MS66 of the 0-113 brought $58,750.00 in 09/2015. The coin offered here is EX Link-one of the greatest Bust Half Collections ever assembled! Throw out all printed values as they are simply WRONG. A coin like this trades infrequently.  And similar coins are non existent.
