G $1 1887 PCGS MS65

This is a VERY high end GEM. Superior surfaces are super clean. Here you get both-a strong luster and strong semi-prooflike surfaces. Both sides and are original deeper gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations what so ever. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and do have delicate frost. The eye appeal is terrific! ONLY 7500 minted. PCGS 86, NGC 82, CAC 22. Here is a really startling fact: NO PCGS CAC MS65 has ever sold via auction. Even though these are not common, it seems this date suffers from guilt by association.
