There are only maybe 2-3 other Standard Silver Patterns that are in the rarified stratosphere of this coin. It is an R-6 (13-20 minted). We wish EVERY 1870 coin could have mirrors as deep and booming as this. The mirrors are so fresh looking they look liek a newly made sheet of glass. They also have great clarity, are clean, and make you put on pair of sunglasses so the reflection does not blind you. A heart pounding partial ring of totally original royal blue/purple/auburn frames part of the rims in a very dramatic fashion. Miss Liberty and the details are so thick frosted and sharply struck you’d swear they were carved out of a block of ice. The eye appeal is INCREDIBLE in EVERY respect!
