$1 1880O 80/79 PCGS MS64+ DMPL

Super HIGH END! In our opinion, this coin is a full GEM 65 DMPL-save for one tiny tick. Exceptionally deep mirrors are at least 8″. They have amazing clarity, cleanliness (again, one tick) and have a stunning reflection. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a “watery” semi liquid mercury roll. They also do turn fully black (a term). Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. You do not need a glass to see the 80/79. If we did not know this coin was an 80O, we’d be thinking killer 80S! The eye appeal is that strong! PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This coin only appeared in auction recently for the very first time. There is one coin graded higher by PCGS, however it is locked away in a collection. If you love rare and real black and white DMPL’s-this is your coin!
