J- 241 50C 1859 PCGS PR 65 CAMEO

$5,250.00

This gorgeous coin is an R-4 (76-200 minted). It is a Longacre inspired Half Dollar design struck in silver. For all the Patterns Legend has handled, we do not remember one of these as nice as this one. The mirrors are deep and beam from from all over. The are clean, have decent clarity, and are boldly reflective. With a strong glass you can see some Mint made striations (die polishing lines). A faint hint of creamy white/ultra pale gold is on both sides. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and stands out boldly with thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is fabulous! This is the ONLY Cameo graded. In NON Cameo PCGS has graded 2, NGC 0, CAC 1. In regular NON CAM 65, the last one to sell in auction-was back in 2003!  That coin brought $3,853.00. Sure the mintage suggests 76-200, but we see LESS than handful of survivors in all grades.Opportunity knocks loud if you see a real GEM example of this wonderful design that could have been. WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT  OUR BEST PRICE
