50C 1814/3 PCGS MS64+ O-101a

It is our VERY strong opinion this coin should be classified as a full GEM. It is a real MS64.9. The + DOES indeed mean something here! Full MS65 calibre surfaces are extremely clean and smooth. With a strong glass all you will find are Mint made issues like die cracks and some thin light clash marks. We do not see any problems or any size. A strong luster illuminates the totally original olive/gold/pale lavender colors that swirl all over.  The colors are NOT dull or drab. There are no discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 2. There are TWO MS64+ graded. PCGS has graded one lone MS65 (think about how rare these pops prove out for this date after 30+ years of operations for PCGS). The other MS64+ brought $32,900.00 09/2015 and was NOT CAC beaned. We can’t stress enough how HIGH END this coin is. It will be a terrific addition to ANY Choice/GEM Bust Half set.
