Love this fully prooflike specimen! A few ticks are giggles can be seen only with a glass. The surfaces overall do appear clean and smooth. Full 4″ mirrors add with a full booming luster really make this coin stand out. Both sides have crisp original deeper gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and look like they were hand carved out of a block of glittering gold.The eye appeal is tremendous! Only 4,400.00 were minted. PCGS 10, NGC 7, CAC 1 (for all grades, CAC has only beaned 8 pieces). Obviously this coin has never been in auction. We paid strong for the coin because finding a nice and unmessed with piece is nearly impossible (you would see more CAC’d). There is NO accurate pricing for this coin. Opportunity knocks loud for any seeking a really rare and gorgeous earlier $2.5!
